#PubTip = Genre is determined by which aisle in bookstore your book will be shelved (which is why "it's a bit of all three" is a #QueryFail)

#PubTip = a book can be middle grade sci-fi and in this case the genre is middle grade and the sub-genre is sci-fi.

#PubTip = a book can be science fiction romance and in this case the genre is romance and sub-genre is sci-fi.
