Really loved Beheld, a story of the women in 1620's Plymouth. I adore historical fiction that goes back to old stories and retells them and I'd love to see more in my inbox! #MSWL

A deeply moving and tragic novel about superstition and magic. The writing is clear and cutting and utterly brilliant and when I finished this I stared at the ceiling and cried. PLEASE send me historical fiction like this. #MSWL

This is EXACTLY the kind of historical fiction I love (and want!). A brilliant multi POV novel about spies and secrets and the importance of literature (Dr. Zhivago) during the Cold War. The multi POVs can be confusing but I highly recommend reading! #MSWL

In historical, I’m a bit tired of brilliant women who want to escape the torment of high society. I’d rather see brilliant women who love high society and want to use it to their advantage, à Lady Mary Crawley of Downton Abbey.
