Watching the History Channel show ALONE. Reminds me I still looking for a female survival story (MG preferable but YA also maybe). Like MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN or HATCHET. #mswl

Here is my #mswl darleyandersonblog.com/2020/02/25/mee… Generally, outside of crime, things that are uplifting & are about finding/making connections. High concept, feel-good, love stories. And across children's uplifting again, funny, things inspired by kindness and nature.

As well as #ownvoices and stories set outside the United States. I want stories of survival and grief and characters who overcome obstacles. Ah, who am I kidding? I just want a good book to lose myself in. #MSWL

This pandemic is hitting all of us differently on an emotional level, I know, but it's kind of making me crave stories about people worse off than we are... Does this make me a bad person?
Even so, I'd love to see more apocalyptic survival stories in my submissions box! #mswl

I'm dying to find a female Revenant -- Can be historical or contemporary, a gritty, hardcore, emotional, and suspenseful survival story. Give me all the bear scenes. #mswl

I'd love a survivalist horroresque novel or survivalist dystopian YA. Think Wilder Girls by Rory Power! Give me off the grid islands, plagues, a trip gone gone wrong, the end that begins as a whisper.

In that same vein, I like the idea of a mother fighting through something like that, survival either with children in tow or knowing that she needs to get to her children #MSWL

I'm also looking for survival romances (NOT ROMANTIC SUSPENSE), where the H&H have to rely on each other to survive. Think wilderness and disaster stories. Send query and 1st five pages pasted in body of email to: querylynnette (at) theseymouragency (dot) com. #MSWL

#mswl I'd love to see a wildfire story. I'm equal opportunity on the setting -- campers/hikers? Surburanites? I want to see survival and moving on. Also, I'm from CA, so wildfires affecting urban settings is something I'm used to seeing (alas).
