I’m really looking to beef up the MG part of my list. Please send your heart wrenching contemporary or fun fantasy adventures my way! #mswl

I would also like to see some heart-achey MG contemporary that doesn’t shy away from big issues. Socially and politically engaged, with humor and joy and hope but also courage and realness and empathy. #MSWL

I want urban fantasy in MG too please! Series potential and big friend groups, family-focused, heartfelt—would love to fight some surprise tears reading a fun, sweeping adventure. #MSWL

For my MG, right now I really want magical adventure! Send me something fantastical and fun, with a great hook, and friendships that shine. Especially if there are any non-human magical characters incorporated in a fresh way. #MSWL

I’m excited to be reopening to submissions today – so send me your magical middle-grade, your groundbreaking YA, your rich, imaginative fiction for adults or non-fiction that shows me the world from a new and eye-opening perspective. Writers from all backgrounds welcome! #MSWL

On this beautiful day, I am realllly in the mood for some LGBTQIA cinnamon-rolls-fall-in-love YA or MG contemporary #MSWL

#MSWL MG/YA mock trial that turns into a real mystery to solve.

Family drama is the weirdest drama. Give me a middle grade with a family like the Belchers on Bob's Burgers and/or a YA with one like the Bluths on Arrested Development. #MSWL

On my #MSWL, contemporary middle grade books about boys and friendship. Boys care and worry about and love their friends, but there aren’t enough books that tackle those emotions and experiences.

In light of seeing #AQuietPlacemovie tonight, I'd LOVE to see all the YA and MG horror--smart, creepy, not derivative, with a twist. I'm not as into slasher horror---but genuinely suspenseful and scary. #MSWL
