On the book club side, I love stories about toxic female friendships, family sagas with the layers and humor of a prestige soap opera, and novels that skirt the line between commercial WF and thrillers. #MSWL

Top of my list is juicy contemporary romance. Give me humor, give me tears, and above all give me side friendships as nuanced as the main romance #mswl

I hope to continue to see excellent YA mysteries and thrillers, Romance and Big Friendship stories (or any intersection of the two that permeates high school!), MG adventure and sleuths, and historical fiction that tackles big issues in very personal and direct ways #mswl

Also on the adult end I would love to find commercial and upmarket friendship focused stories that really show the complexities of modern female friendship--good bad ugly and everything in between #mswl

In all ages and genres I am seriously hoping to see more books starring mc's with disabilities. #ownvoices especially encouraged. I want to see stories that show the full range of life and experiences--joy, accomplishments, ambition, sadness, friendship, love. #MSWL
